Once the ideas designs have been completed and reviewed, customers may then choose to have the ideas developed into a final design drawing. This will combine elements from the ideas drawings and any additional thoughts that you may have for your garden.
The final drawing will identify the exact locations and sizes for all hard landscaping elements, for example patio areas, summerhouses, planting beds and key feature plants such as trees and large shrubs.
This will usually also include additional descriptive details about the materials, specific features for the garden and suggestions for plants that we have discussed to fulfil different roles in the final garden design.
To support this stage of the design process and garden build I can also provide additional drawings if required. This can include “Layout Plans” which will show the detailed measurements for the garden and Construction drawings to provide specifications for the hard landscaping features as needed.
I can also help in the selection of suitable landscapers for the garden build and I can provide a Project Management service to oversee the day to day activities of the project.

Customers may then choose to ask me to design a full planting plan for the garden, where individual shrubs and trees will be selected and located in specific locations in the garden. Where required I can also source the agreed plants for planting up by yourselves or by me as required.
